Tevel is the first angel club established in the US,  which facilitates the introduction of Israeli high-technology entrepreneurs to potential investors in the United States through a web based database and bi-monthly club meetings in New York City.

Tevel angel club is a New York registered Not-for-Profit corporation. Dr. Oren Fuerst and Oren Heiman,Esq.,Tevel's co-founders, have come together to enable US-based angels to show their support and take part in the thriving high-tech revolution taking place in Israel.

We focus on companies from the sectors in which Israeli technology is currently demonstrating exceptional abilities, including life sciences, Internet, electronics, telecom, software, clean-tech and homeland security. We carefully screen dozens of companies and select 3-5 promising startups to present in each angel club meeting.

All angel members or guests of Tevel are required to be accredited investors as individuals or as representatives of such entities.

A core value of Tevel's angel club is to encourage philanthropic contribution alongside deal-making, therefore, at each meeting, a pre-screened Israeli-related charitable cause will present its case for the support and consideration of the members.

The upcoming angel club meeting will be held on July 28, 2009 and this Fall, for the first time, we will be hosting three unique angel club meetings dedicated to specific sectors. September > CleanTech Showcase; October > Medical Device Showcase; November > HighTech Showcase. Expect a high-level relevant keynote speaker, Israel's leading start-ups and a roster of angels/VCs from these specific sectors. To encourage cross-disciplinary interest, we are offering our permanent angels complimentary entrance to two of the three angel club showcases (1 purchased ticket = entry to 3 events). Tevel is now welcoming companies to submit proposals for review by our executive committee, comprised of industry leading experts in the fields of Life Sciences, Internet, Electronics, Clean Tech and Homeland Security.
